Will my boyfriend of 4 years eventually miss me if I give him space?

Yeah you definitely need to take a break from him. If he cares about you he will crawl back to you. But with that said, I think for your peace of mind, you need to step off the four year rollercoaster ride indefinitely. Honestly from what I am reading, you two should end it and go your seperate ways. You should meet someone who will be your biggest fan and will love and care for you in good times and bad times. You are leaving highschool and entering adulthood. As a woman you should realize that no guy should ever make you feel bad and that you can do better than him. You be the one to dump him and do it over the phone. Trust me you will thank me for this. You have the rest of your life ahead of you without having a ball and chain around your ankle.
